The Farmer's Market Board has been working to round up vendors who want to participate and give you the opportunity to come and get those products and food you normally only see during the summer time. There will be ready-to-eat foods, take-and-bake food, metal crafts, hand made crafts, packaged meats, salves and oils, and I have heard there will even be fresh veggies available.
Because it is winter, we have found an indoor location for this market. We want everyone warm and comfortable, and there is no telling what the weather will be like that day. The Farmer's Market will be held on the main street of Saint Francis at 108 W Washington.
We are excited to gather together the vendors we normally only see during the summer, and open up a market so everyone can come and enjoy their products. And we, as board members and vendors, miss our customers. We would love to see your beautiful faces on the 5th.
We do have a great line up of vendors for the market, but there is always room if you would like to participate and get some of your product sold. If you would like to be a vendor, please talk with any board member, you can call Jason at 785-772-5151, or show up before opening on March 5th, and we will help you get set up to sell.
We also have a lot of good information, vendor list, online store, and the vendor application on the website:
We hope to see you at the Winter Farmer's Market.
