Highway 36 Bloggers will visit Cheyenne County

The Highway 36 Association has been working with local Chambers of Commerce, Main Streets, and Economic Development offices in the thirteen Kansas counties that Highway 36 runs through to bring two travel bloggers to our region this month. These bloggers, Sara Broers with Travel with Sara, and Melody Pittman with Wherever I May Roam Blog, will be road tripping along Highway 36 to highlight what visitors can experience in all 13 counties along Highway 36. They arrive in Doniphan County on Sunday, April 3 and journey across the state spending one day in each of the counties until they finish their excursion in Cheyenne County on Friday, April 15.

Sara Broers is a travel enthusiast that resides in Iowa. She is passionate about helping destinations grow their tax base through tourism. Sara enjoys a good road trip and shares her experiences with her audience at TravelWithSara @ https://travelwithsara.com . She is the author of 100 Things To Do In Iowa Before You Die @ https://www.reedypress.com/shop/100-things-to-do-in-iowa-before-you-die , which will be released in May of 2022. Sara is also the co-owner of the Midwest Travel Network @ https://midwesttravelnetwork.com/ , an organization that helps people make connections that matter in the tourism industry. Sara loves a good road trip, especially the road trips that others don't know about, but should! When Sara is not traveling, you can find her at home on the family farm with her husband, grown sons, and grandson.

Melody Pittman is a tourism consultant and co-owner of two blogs, Wherever I May Roam @ https://www.whereverimayroamblog.com/ and Travel the South Bloggers @ https://travelthesouthbloggers.com/ . She hosts the annual Southern Travelers Explore conference and small-scale retreats, as well as freelances for several publications, including Travel Awaits, GO RVIng, Charleston Home and Living Magazine. Melody is a digital influencer, brand ambassador, cruise expert, and is writing the “100 Things to Do in West Virginia Before You Die” book. As of July 2021, Melody and her husband of 30 years are living on the road in an RV and sharing their dream life under #whereverimayroll. Melody loves small towns, animals, and is a foodie.
