Cheyenne Center for Creativity has purchased this historic building at 202 on Washington.
The purpose? To preserve the history of this landmark while re-imagining it as an expanded Art Gallery and Event Center for Cheyenne County and the region!
Kim Zweygardt, CC4C board member, asks, "Did we purchase a property with a leaky roof? Why yes, we did! Because if not us, then who? And if not now, when? When the landmark is beyond saving? Please help preserve the integrity of this building. The previous owner did much to preserve the infrastructure of the building: wiring, plumbing, foundation work. But it desperately needs a roof to allow us to pursue further grants and funding to complete the project."
