Gathering in large groups is being restricted in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19. In response to these restrictions, CC4C and the 202 Building and Fundraising Committees, are moving forward by exploring creative options to accomplish the renovation and re-purposing of 202 on Washington.
The Dane G. Hansen Foundation has granted CC4C $100,000 for purchase of the building at 202 Washington. This grant is contingent upon raising considerable additional funds.
The committees are meeting weekly to develop strategies to meet these fundraising goals. As plans for fundraising events change, updates will be published in the newspaper and information will be posted on social media, as well as "Mail Chimp".
Our core values hold constant when everything around us is changing. Community is perhaps one of the most important resources we have. We remain optimistic that 202 on Washington is still an important project that will succeed.
