Cheyenne County KS Community Foundation board held its annual retreat at 202 on Washington on March 7. The board spent the afternoon planning for another exciting year of activities. The CCKCF hopes to announce its acquisition of physical home on main street in the near future. The all volunteer board of twelve Cheyenne County residents is researching the possibility of employing a part time administrator to assist the board in its mission to Cheyenne County. Please visit with any board member regarding possible candidates for this position.
The CCKCF board also received reports from the Strategic Doing, Planned Giving, CN County Hansen Grant and Match Month committees. The board is thankful for the generous support of generous donors from Cheyenne County, alumni of Cheyenne County schools and the Dane G Hansen Foundation in helping grow funds in the foundation from a total of $35,000 in 2007 to $1.8M in 2020!
