The story of the Way-Off Broadway Players is set to begin in the only way a story about players should begin, with comedy and foolishness. Pages of silliness are being rehearsed, comedic falls practiced, evil laughs tested, lines being sung Way-Off key, and egos being ignored as we perfect our imperfection; all in the hopes of giving you a chuckle.
The first of many plays, that is if we live through the first one, will be 'Rollin in Dough in Mistletoe', performed as a part of the Yule Tide Festival on December 18th @ 2pm @ the St Francis Community High School.
In 'Rollin in Dough in Mistletoe', the people of the small town of Mistletoe received foreclosure notices for Christmas from an evil banker. Will the citizenry be homeless Christmas morning? Will their stockings have to be hung from Jingle Bell Rock? Will an unlikely hero stumble in to save the day? Let's all find out on Dec. 18th.
