The 2016 exhibits at Quincy Gallery were made possible by these underwriters: Dr. Ron Maifeld/Vitalix, St. Francis Mercantile Equity, Ross Mfg Well and Pump Service, Western State Bank, Grace Flying Service, Western Auction and Real Estate LLC, BANKWEST, First National Bank, United Methodist Church Thrift Store, and John and Natalie Knodel.
Business and individual underwriters are recognized at each show and their support is acknowledged in all publicity connected with that exhibit. Contributions are tax deductible. CC4C is now a 501c3 corporation so they can accept your donations directly.
Cheyenne Center for Creativity (CC4C) is currently seeking underwriters and supporters for 2017. Opportunities for underwriting 2017 Quincy Gallery exhibits include: January and February - Rebel Jay, Oils, Acrylic, and Pottery; March and April – Allison Grice, Photography and Graphics; May – High School Art Exhibit; June – Alumni Art Show; July and August – David Hartman, Oil Painting; September and October – Juried Art Show; November and December – Audrey Kalivoda, “Kansas Mosaic”, Video and Photography.
Another way to contribute to CC4C is to support speaking, music, literary, or drama events with a donation. Opportunities abound to explore, engage, and support the arts in the community: attend a performance, visit the gallery, become a gallery docent, sign up for a class, or volunteer your time and talent.
Current CC4C Board members are Janet Carman, Carol Redding, Beth Maifeld, Susan Griffin, Kay Shay, Kary Zweygardt, Kim Zweygardt, Helene Landenberger, and Natalie Knodel. Contact a board member to discuss how to support the arts in the community.
According to Brad Anderson, Director of Salina Arts and Humanities “The arts demonstrate, in an outward way, the inner spirit of a community.”
